Clip Chart

Each morning students start on “Ready to Learn. When they make positive choices, they get to clip up. When students break a rule, they must clip down. By clipping up, students earn tickets.  when they accumulate 15 tickets, they can cash them in for rewards--such as visiting another class, using the teacher's chair for a day, lunch with a buddy, and computer time, just to name a few.  Clipping down multiple times can result in losing privileges or parent contact.  I love the Clip Chart because even if a student clips down in the morning, the can still end up on OUTSTANDING at the end of the day.  The Clip Chart really helps us to focus on positive behavior!  And, we have A LOT of clipping up going on in our classroom!!!
